More than simply knowing that we are experts, we want families to feel that we are accessible and down to earth. We put our clients at ease, helping them perform at their best. This also helps clients to think more ambitiously and opens them up to new ideas.
Getting to know you
We start by getting to know our clients’ existing profile and performance, properly. We then learn more about their ambitions. This allows us to set objectives and devise a bespoke plan to bridge the gap between where they are now and where they could be. The tasks we set form the most direct and focussed route to success.
Our 'tools'
Our proprietary tools are essential components of our system – they allow us and the client to maintain clear visibility of performance and progress. Our scheduling tool is especially popular because it is versatile enough to be used as a study, revision or planning timetable. We also devised the Forster Writing Programme to introduce and hone the elevated writing skills needed to thrive in an academic setting and far beyond. All of our tools are carefully developed and powerful, only available to Distinction Coaching’s clients.
Flow
Above all else, families appreciate that the Distinction Coaching system is highly personalised and fits to the individuals. Although we’re a bespoke service provider, engaging clients often follows this pattern: In our first meeting, families tell us about them and we share more information about what we do. We start to develop a view of the client using the information provided by the family and our own assessment. This allows us to share an initial view of what we think is possible and forms the basis of future consultations.
