University students

Making a rewarding experience

We help our clients get the most out of university. To do this, we work with clients to create a detailed plan for the duration of their degree; this includes courses, extracurriculars, study abroad and holidays. Our clients also learn to take advantage of the vast array of resources and infrastructure at their disposal, which includes office hours, advisers and university offices.

Facing new challenges

The adjustment to university can be tricky because of personal and academic issues; young people often struggle with living away from their families, new academic demands (particularly the emphasis on independent work) and social life. We orientate our clients and enable them to confidently overcome these issues to the point where they are thriving. We guide our clients to:

  • Acquire robust organisation skills so that they have time for the things that are important to them and prevent anxiety caused by bottlenecking

  • Learn effective study habits and revision techniques

  • Develop expertise and pick dissertation topics

  • Manage relationships with stakeholders, such as professors and advisers

  • Develop meaningful relationships with peers

  • Build their vocational profiles – accessing internships, building industry knowledge, attending networking events, leveraging the university and alumni network

Exit trajectory

We also tailor our services to students in their final year of university who face the (sometimes daunting) decision of what to do after university. If our clients are seeking employment, we can help them to explore options based on their interests, values, skills, knowledge of different careers and aspirations. Clients benefit from guidance on how to leverage their existing experience and network, or making new applications altogether. For clients not seeking employment (immediately), we discuss and research what they would find rewarding, allowing them to make conscious and informed decisions.
