The Golden Decade
The sweet spot
We’ve found the optimal window for a young person’s development – it’s the period from 13 to 23 years old.
Growth and opportunity
The Golden Decade is characterised by the coincidence of a young person’s extreme capacity for growth combined with their opportunities to capitalise on it. This stems from a theory in developmental psychology called the ‘the sensitive period’. It is the limited time window during which the brain is the most capable of growth.
We believe that achieving excellence through this period and beyond must be built on a robust foundation. Our objective is to inspire unwavering self-motivation, coupled with interdisciplinary skills in this period. We believe that, together, they provide the will and the means to thrive for an entire lifetime.
